Match report Catches Win Matches

This Sunday we were away at the beautiful setting of Bamville, on a perfect sunny summer's day. Although we only had seven players on Thursday, Holdy, ,Jubby and two debutants Jonathon Lacey and Richard Foord made up the full compliment. This is the youngest and fittest Dolphins team I have ever played in, how would the youngster hold up.

Having won the toss, I decided to bat as it was quite a warm afternoon and after the day before's exertions I was not sure the older members of the team would survive fielding in such warm conditions.

Amit and Richard batted 1 & 2, the look of terror on Amit's face with news he was facing the first ball soon subsided as he padded up. Richard and Amit started well with some very controlled shots along the ground into the gaps. The partnership was going well until a big mix up a the running saw both batsman at the same end.........................more to come later.
