A wicket each for Ant Rayner, Ron Giovanni and Tom Roche wrapped up the innings at just 71.

Ali Javed top-scored for the hosts with 21.

However, with the weather worsening further, this aided the hosts, who pulled themselves back into the game by limiting Dolphins to 35-5.

Ben Lewis and Driscoll were the only batsmen to reach double figures as the visitors limped towards the total.

Late wickets by Asif and Javed put Mill Hill within one wicket of an unlikely victory with Dolphins still needing six runs to win.

But an exciting match finished in the same light.

With the scores tied, Paul Bonney edged behind and was dropped by the wicket-keeper.

And as the ball fell safely behind the slip cordon, Bonney was called through for a quick single to give the Dolphins a one-wicket win.
