Following the rule change at the League AGM all matches in 2010 will start at 1pm. This will apply to all matches except those on 4th September which will start at 12.30pm.

Forget about the bleak winter weather and warm yourself up remembering last summers cricket. Once again Teach has put together a photo disk, this year with about 230 pictures on it. Priced at a reasonable £4, Teach has asked those wishing to purchase one to mail him so that he can burn the disks ahead of our AGM. Teach can be contacted on grahamcoulthard@sky.com

Just a quick note to ask you to put Wednesday 24th March in your diary for our AGM, 7.30pm for 8pm start (prompt!).

If you wish to nominate people for any of the Club roles above then the nominators and seconders need to inform myself or Graham Downes no later than 17th March (being 7 days before the AGM). You are reminded that the role of President is a non-contested position under the rules of the Club.

The same deadline applies to any specific items you wish to add to the agenda. Emails are acceptable for these purposes. Please remember, to nominate/second anybody or to add a further item for discussion you need to be eligible to vote (President, Vice-President and 2009 Paid Up Playing Members only).

There is the usual full league schedule plus...

- the opener against Bamville,
- President's Day on 4th July
- repeat fixture against Weathamsted, and
- the big game on the Common on the August bank holiday.

All home games will be on the top pitch in the park as usual. The committee looked in depth at other options but Rothamsted remains the only viable option. Hopefully all the snow is keeping those pesky footballers off the square!

We are booked for Nets at Hatfield from Thursday 7 January to Thursday 25 March inclusive, from 8pm to 9pm each week.
